Disease and microorganism:
Microbial disease is the result of microbes entering the body and multiplying in the tissues. Thus, the microbes that cause illness are called harmful microbes or disease microbes. Nutrients in the human body are the material for these microbes to grow. In this way, the worms that get nutrients from the body and cause disease are called a) Parasite.
Some microbes take up nutrients in the body and do not cause any symptoms in return. These are called commensals but some microbes feed on dead tissue and other non-living matter. These are called Saprophytes.
1.Type of disease microorganism:
Infection can be divided into two types.
(a) Exogenous Infection.
(b) Endogenous infection
a). Exogenous Infection:
Disease germs are found in soil, water, air etc. outside the body. Can be caused by microorganisms. Tuberculosis germs are airborne and can be inhaled and cause disease. Diseases caused in this way are called microbial diseases.
b). Endogenous Infection:
Microorganisms inside the body leave their proper place and move to other areas, leaving the beneficial nature and gaining the ability to cause disease. Thus, the disease caused by the migration of germs inside the body is called the disease caused by internal microorganism.eg) Tuberculosis.
2 )Types of Social Microbial Impacts:
1. Epidemic Disease
2. Endemic disease
3. Sporadic disease
4. Pandemic disease.
1.Epidemic:
Sometimes diseases, acquired as an infectious disease, affect a large number of people at the same time and are called epidemics (um) (Influenza)
2. Endemic:
Disease found in the country In certain places, microbes for some diseases are found in that environment. These often affect living people. It can be called in weight (um) elephantiasis.
3. Sporadic:
Sporadic disease Some germs may affect a few people here and there in the community. Such diseases are called sporoid (examples are measles and malaria).
4.Pandemic:
A pandemic is an epidemic disease that occurs simultaneously in different parts of the world. (Influenza.)
